I’ve been blessed and bestowed many fortunes through what I’m able to do with a camera in my hands and Nia is unreservedly one of them. Early in 2015 I remember reaching out to her only to find out she lived in the United Kingdom, and though while mutually interested in having my photograph her, pulling it off would have to wait for the stars align. Fast forward to the moment I’m typing this and we’ve photographed in a handful of cities largely to her desire to bring me along for projects she felt needed someone who would pay particular attention to the subtleties and human details. The photos in this album present a point in her life where she dared to go against an established crutch, if you will. Nia is someone I care for immensely, someone that sings my praises and champions my dedication to going all out in any and every direction I feel compelled. This album is a snap shot of some early morning portraits taken in and around a stunning Airbnb we stayed at a few summers ago.
